Mission Central
No new posts Mission Central
"The mission of the Church of All Worlds is to evolve a network of information, mythology and experience that provides a context and stimulus for re-awakening Gaia, and re-uniting her children through tribal community dedicated to responsible stewardship and evolving consciousness." The mission of CAW is an extremely ambitious mission, but this is the purpose which binds us together. What does the mission statement mean to you? What are you doing to contribute to and advance the mission of CAW?

No new posts Grow Closer
Come in and sit a spell, and get to know each other in this sacred space. We cast the circle here to give us the chance to practice one of the core values in CAW - growing closer; the development of an intimate spiritual family - what we call the Tribe of CAW, or the grok flock. So gather round the fire, take a sip of cool, clear, life giving water when the chalice passes your way, and share your life, your loves, your joys and sorrows, knowing that you are surrounded by Water Kin.

No new posts Rolling Thunder
Calls for Healing Energy. The Rolling Thunder is a special ritual where a date and time are set, and at that time (the local time for each member), each member does a ritual (alone or with others in their own way) for what the ritual is about. Because we have members all over the globe, the energies raise over quite a period of time. It's known to be quite effective. This forum is established to carry on that healing tradition, and is dedicated in Morning Glory's honor. This is an appropriate place to request healing energy, or to coordinate healing efforts, as well as to find out more information about the semi-monthly regularly scheduled Rolling Thunder rituals, or to request a special Rolling Thunder if the need is great.

No new posts Let's Chat!
Online? Got IM? Inworld (SL)? Got your Skype on? Wanna try to connect with others who might also be available while you're on? CAW doesn't currently have a chat area, but many of our members have AIM, ICQ, Skype or other IM programs or participate in virtual worlds like SL where chatting, either voice or text or both may be available. If you're available for chat and would like to let people know, post a shout out here! Topics are removed if they aren't posted to in 7 days, since this is an "immediate" thing, so that they don't get stale. So you can post scheduled chats in advance here as well, but you'll need to bump it every week if you schedule something ahead of time. If you want to set up a regular chat (such as a weekly online watersharing ritual) of any sort, make sure you put that in the subject and I'll sticky it! (PM me if you don't see it turn sticky in 24 hrs.)

Regional Forums are the perfect place to post announcements for events, nest activities and gatherings of interest to CAW members in your geographical area. (non-CAW events welcome!) It's also a good place to post nesting notes (what happened at your local meeting) and to create regional Branches if you have multiple nests in your area. It is recommended that you put the geographical information in your subject line (example: "Minneapolis: Lady of the Lakes Nest table at Pagan Pride Day" rather than just "Lady of the Lakes Nest at Pagan Pride Day".)

CAW has a sister church in Australia and has had nests and members in Europe, Asia and the Pacific rim. This forum is provided for our international waterkin to post events and happenings in their area and to give reports of what's happening in their part of Gaia. If any one region begins reporting regularly, we'll gladly move their posts into their own forum.

No new posts Virtual Nests
Have a nest which exists primarily or entirely online? Perhaps the nest presence is via an email list, a forum (such as this one) or even in a virtual world, such as Second Life (SL). If so, post contact information, announcements and reports here. Currently CAW virtual nests are *not* formal nests, do not have to register (but *can*) with CAW and are not required to file reports (unless they handle money), but in the future guidelines may be established for formalizing these virtual congregations, so stay tuned!

No new posts Curriculum Vitae
Progression through the more inner RINGs (from 4th Circle inward) require the submission of a "Curriculum Vitae", a sort of academic resume detailing the ways in which you have met the requirements of the Circle you've just completed, the reasons why you believe that you're prepared to move further inward, and how you intend to contribute to the Church by doing so. Since C.V.s are only required of those working the RINGs, posting to this forum is limited to paid CAW members (2nd Circle and inward), however any member (1st Circle inward, registered users only) may read the forum and reply to a posting. Community feedback on C.V.s is welcome, but must be honest, respectful, considerate and constructive. If you have serious concerns about an individual applying to move inward, you may wish to email the Lifeways Coordinator at lifeways@CAW.org rather than posting a public response. Disrespectful replies and those which do not contain constructive feedback/criticism will be deleted.

Guilds (Tracks)
No new posts Guilds & Tracks
Recognizing that service can be conducted in many areas, depending upon interest, aptitude and the needs of the community, CAW includes specialized "tracks" of service in their training program, and from the fourth circle inward makes specific recommendations for individuals interested in embarking upon specific tracks. While participation in a Guild is recommended at 4th Circle, members may begin participating in Guilds at any Circle and participation in multiple guilds is encouraged. Discussions of & formation of Guilds and recommendations for new Tracks of Service are appropriate here, as are discussions of a general nature for participation in Tracks. Discussions specific to individual Guilds or Tracks which are already established should use the appropriate Guild forum.

No new posts Artistic Guilds: General & Interdisciplinary
The Artistic Guilds are for those people who seek to make their contribution through creativity, through serving in Artistic Guilds such as the Bardic Guild, the Guild of Visual Artists, the Fine Arts Guild or Home Arts, where those guilds do not have their own track. Service through guilds involves adding your creativity to the body of lore that we are developing and helping to coordinate others within your chosen guild. Guild members are drawn upon for contributions at major events. Since there are several several disciplines within this guild that have sufficient interest, participation or diversity within their own field to support it, there are "sub guilds" within this guild. Each of those sub guilds have their own forum. This forum is for discussion of Artistic Guilds in General, and Interdisciplinary arts.
